Landscaping stones can add a touch of elegance to gardens, lawns and other outdoor spaces. The durability and rugged texture of slate make it a common landscaping stone for patios, paths, flowerbed borders and waterfalls. Since landscaping stones are usually surrounded by vegetation, they can become marred with dirt particles, insects, bird droppings and moss. Regular cleaning maintains the stones' aesthetic appeal and allows them to last longer. Clean landscaping stones with certain solutions to prevent harming surrounding vegetation.
