     Remove sticks, weeds, leaves and other debris from the rubber mulch. A blower can be used to remove all loose debris without fear of blowing the mulch.

     Rake the rubber mulch to loosen compacted areas.

     Add rubber mulch to areas where the ground has shifted lower or the mulch has washed away due to heavy rainfall or misdirected drainage.

     Spray the rubber mulch with water to rinse off dust and dirt.
