Garden Bench Landscape Ideas

You have set up a beautiful garden outside your home and, when the weather is perfect and flowers are blooming, all you want to do is sit in the garden and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Well, you can easily pull out a chair and sit, but moving furniture in and out every time you want to sit in the garden is not very convenient. Also, sometimes you might need a lot of seating space; for instance, if you are planning to throw a small outdoor party.
  1. Courtyard Bench

    • You can place benches along the courtyard boundary. These benches can be kept close to each other so that a lot of people can sit together or can be placed at some distance apart for a little privacy. Benches made of flagstone material or slate can be an ideal match to your garden. In between two benches you can plant some colorful flowery plants in containers that match your surrounding. A table can be kept along the edges of the benches on which to place your cups and glasses.

    Wraparound Bench

    • Place a wraparound bench around a tree from where you can get the best view of your garden. The shade of the tree allows you to sit on the bench in the daytime to take a nap or read a book.

    Planter Bench

    • A planter bench is a wooden bench surrounded by planters. It usually rests on garden pots filled with flowery plants. You can plant your favorite flowers in the pots and enjoy sitting in the midst of them. If you are not keen on buying a ready-made bench from the market, you can very well make a set of benches for yourself. Consider using logs to create that natural look in your garden. Applying these ideas in your garden will surely make it a place where you will spend most of your day enjoying nature and the fresh air.
