Wholesale Garden Center Gift Ideas

Garden and nature enthusiasts love receiving gifts of plants or items for their gardens or backyards. At wholesale garden centers, a wide variety of common to exotic plants and flowers are available, as well as objects which can add to the decor of a garden or an outdoor room.
  1. Garden Sculptures

    • While the garden gnome is the most famous and arguably the most popular garden sculpture, just about any sculpture made from durable stone or rustproof, weatherproof metal will work in a garden. Wholesale garden supply stores carry a wide variety of these sculptures, ranging from miniature versions of sculptures or models from famous Roman gardens, to weird and funny sculptures of animal characters from fairy tales, or completely original pieces of artwork. Most of these sculptures will last for a long period of time but some are fragile, as they are made from plaster and are hollow on the inside.

    Bamboo

    • Good for growing in a pot in a room or for planting in a garden, bamboo is a gift that keeps on giving for an avid gardener. With proper treatment, bamboo can form a thick border around the edge of a yard in a few years, making it more attractive and cheaper then a fence line made from wood or metal. If a massive bamboo growing project is not the gift you want to give, small pieces can also be given as gifts, in decorative pots which can sit on desks or kitchen tables and soothe their owners.

    Pottery

    • A wide variety of pottery can also be given, in a complete set or in different pots which are similar in style, color and pattern. Choose the type of pot you'll give depending on what type of plants are being grown on a deck or patio, and whether their colors or aesthetic styles will clash or complement each other. Check out where the pots will be set up, whether it is in a yard, a patio with specific types of stone, or a deck of a house with certain types of wood. In addition, give plants or flowers that should be planted in each pot, so the recipient can immediately begin growing something once you present the pots.
