How to Apply Mulch to a Flower Bed

Mulch not only adds a decorative touch to your flower bed, but it also helps the soil to retain moisture, decrease the growth of weeds and reduce erosion. There are many varieties of mulch that you can purchase, as it comes in different colors and wood types, such as chemically treated or organic. Adding mulch to your flower bed will not take too much time and may prove to be beneficial to your flowers' growth.
