You can use touches of sea life to add an easy beach vibe to kitchens, backyards and gardens. Giant clam shells -- either resin composite, plaster or genuine -- can provide a great nautical touch, as well as decorative space for small plants and herbs. With the addition of a little soil and greenery, you can create your own DIY giant clam shell planter from a decorative clam shell.
