Ronseal Wood Treatment

Types

• Ronseal wood treatments require either one or two coats, depending on the product. Ronseal's One Coat Fencelife treatment and Weather Defence Fencelife treatment both require brush application. All other wood treatment products feature compatibility with brush or spray-on application methods.

Color Treatments

• Ronseal's color fence and shed wood treatments contain wax, which acts as a water repellent. These color treatments also protect against color fading resulting from UV ray exposure. Available color choices for wood treatments include cornflower, red cedar, fern, harvest gold and bluebell.

Application

• Using a paint brush, apply Ronseal's wood treatments directly onto the wooden surface of your shed's exterior or fence. It takes up to two hours for one coat of Ronseal wood treatment to dry, according to the manufacturer. Ronseal also makes power and pump sprayers that decrease application times when applying spray-on treatments.
