Put on safety goggles and gloves.
Determine the placement of your fence and ensure that any underground lines or utilities are not in the immediate vicinity.
Mix a small amount of concrete mix with water, as instructed by the manufacturer, in a bucket.
Mark spots for support posts, spaced 4 feet apart.
Sink 4-by-4 support posts at least 6 inches into the ground, securing with a small amount of concrete spooned into and around the hole with a trough. Let the concrete set overnight.
Add support between the posts by nailing a 2-by-4 between the top and bottom of each post with a hammer and a galvanized nail. Secure the seam with a line of wood glue and allow it to dry.
Attach lattice sections between the posts, securing the lattice around the edges at the posts and to the support beam using a hammer and nail.
Saw down any lattice sections, as needed, to fit top and bottom edges or to match the pattern and attach them with hammer and nails.
Seal seams with wood glue and allow them to dry.
