How to Clean Rust Stains From a Vinyl Fence

Vinyl fencing provides the benefits of wood fencing without the extra care and maintenance. Although vinyl fencing is more expensive than wood, it can last much longer and does not require painting or weather protection. If stains result because of contact with rusted metal, restore the appearance of the vinyl fence with household products. Most rust removers are safe for use on vinyl, but it's important to test the product in a hidden area before beginning.
