Instructions

    • 1

Remove outdoor furniture from the plastic deck. Sweep loose dirt from the deck with a shop broom.

    • 2

Fill a bucket with warm water and 2 tbsp. dish soap.

    • 3

Wet the plastic deck with a garden hose. Aim the hose so water flows away from the home and not at the foundation.

    • 4

Pour one-third of the soapy water from the bucket onto one end of the plastic decking. Using the shop broom, scrub the deck using medium pressure. Work the broom bristles between the deck slats to remove hidden grime. Pour additional soap onto the deck as you continue to work your way to the opposite end.

    • 5

Rinse the soap and loosened dirt from the plastic deck with the garden hose, aiming the water flow away from the home. Use a steady stream of water from the hose to rinse the soap completely from the deck.

    • 6

Rinse the soap from the broom. Sweep excess water from the deck to avoid pooling water.
