QUICKRETE semi-transparent stain is a special type of stain used to seal and stain outdoor concrete slabs. It provides protection against the elements in addition to changing the color of the concrete. Unfortunately, because of the chemical makeup of the stain, there is only one way to remove, re-color or re-stain the concrete: the top layer of concrete will have to be removed using a process called scarification, which means
grinding away at the concrete.
