Aluminum Gazebo Installation

An aluminum gazebo provides a strong outdoor structure. It's useful for entertaining as most have canopies and a mosquito screen to protect you and your guests from bugs, wind and other outdoor elements. The structures come in a few pieces, mainly consisting of the top roof frame and posts and a few small pieces to connect it together. Assembly usually requires no more than a ladder, hammer and screwdriver.

Connect any post sections together. Some post pieces come in whole pieces while others contain sections. The sections slide into each other and may include screws to tighten into the sections to secure them. The post sections may slide into a base flange. There should be at least 4 posts, one on each corner of the gazebo.

    • 2

Set the post sections upright on the ground. Space them so they make a square shape.

    • 3

Place a ladder next to the gazebo posts. Climb to the top of the ladder.

    • 4

Position the top frame posts against the upright posts. Push the screws through the pre-drilled holes in the top posts into the upright posts. Tighten the screws.

    • 5

Push one end of each roof tube into the opening on the roof connector piece. Set the open end of the roof tubes on the top frame posts. Push the screws through the pre-drilled holes on the roof tubes and into the holes on the frame posts. Tighten the screws.

Unfold the fabric cover. Lay it over the top of the gazebo roof. Secure it to the roof posts with the included ties.
