Although there are many home remedies and commercial solutions for removing cigarette stains and odors, you can use a magic eraser to get rid of the unsightly stains and stale, nasty smell.

Things You'll Need

  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • Bucket
  • Magic eraser
  • Baking soda
  • Clean cloths

Instructions

      Pour 1/2 cup of white distilled vinegar into a bucket. Add 1/2 cup of warm water.

      Dip your magic eraser into the diluted vinegar solution. Squeeze the sponge to remove excess moisture.

      Scrub the painted walls with the magic eraser to remove cigarette stains and odor.

      Rinse the magic eraser frequently with warm water to remove brown cigarette stains as they're lifted. Repeat these steps to remove all the stains.

      Add a sprinkle of baking soda to the sponge to further deodorize any areas of the wall. Wipe off the baking soda residue with a damp cloth.
