# How to Get a Ring Stain Out of Our Polyester Fiber Couch
Properly cleaning upholstery is essential to keeping it looking pristine. If you don’t use the right method to clean the couch you could leave ring stains on it. Ring stains happen when you use too much soap, and if you aren’t able to rinse the soap away completely. Fix this by rinsing the polyester fiber couch.
Things You'll Need
- Cloth
- Paper towels
- Hairdryer

Soak a clean cloth in clear water.

Wring out the cloth so that it is wet but is not dripping.

Rub the cloth over the ring stain until the polyester fabric is soaked.

Place eight paper towels over one another and press them into the couch. Press until the paper towels are completely soaked. This will remove most of the water from the upholstery.

Dry the couch with a hairdryer on medium heat.

Repeat the process if you can still see the ring stain. Continue until it is completely gone.
