Instructions

    • 1

Remove any articles of clothing from the dryer. Set these items aside to be treated later.

    • 2

Rub ice cubes over the melted gum to harden it. Hardened gum is easier to remove from surfaces. Remove as much gum as you can from the inside of the dryer before you apply the Goo Gone.

    • 3

Apply Goo Gone to the hardened gum according to the package directions. Let it sit for five minutes to soak in.

    • 4

Rub the gum with a towel and use your fingers to help peel the it away from the surface of the dryer. Apply Goo Gone and continue to peel the gum off of the dryer until it has completely vanished from the surface.

    • 5

Remove the Goo Gone residue and clean the inside of the dryer by wetting a clean towel and adding a little soap to it. Rinse away the Goo Gone and use a dry towel to smooth away the water and remaining residue.
