A kettle is both a functional item and a nice, decorative touch to a kitchen. If you use your kettle to heat water, you may notice that it accumulates white, flaky deposits over time. These deposits are calcifications that are sometimes referred to as "hard water scale." They are the result of calcium and magnesium in the water reacting with other chemicals in the air and on surfaces. Remove these calcifications by using a gentle, yet effective household cleaner.
