Marble is an attractive, durable material that gives off an air of elegance to any home. Unfortunately, marble is difficult to install and easily scratched, etched and stained. Even setting a water glass onto a marble countertop or floor creates a stain. Hydrogen peroxide, a mixture of oxygen and hydrogen, is valued for its antiseptic and disinfecting qualities and effectively removes stains from antique marble while killing any bacteria or viruses on its surface.
