How to Remove Dull Spots in Marble

Polished marble's bright shine and smooth surface can get tarnished over time with soap scum and dirt. Remove the dull spots by first ensuring that the surface is rinsed properly and then applying a polishing compound.

      Soak a clean cloth in fresh water.

      Rub the cloth over the dull spots until the soap scum and residue is gone.

      Spray marble polish over the dull spots. The marble should be wet.

      Buff the polish into the dull spots on the marble with a clean cloth. Work in circular motion until the dull spots are gone.

      Rinse the area with clean water and wipe it dry completely with a microfiber cloth.
