How to Get Crayola Washable Crayon Out of a Rug

Crayola brand washable crayons are cleanable when used on hard surfaces such as floors or walls, but can still crumble into and stain carpeting. Deep pile carpets trap dirt and debris, making removal of crushed crayon difficult. In order to remove the crayon, you will need to lubricate the carpet with a substance that won't stain or damage the pile. It's always a good idea to act immediately and clean the stain before the crayon gets ground further into the carpet.
