Blot up as much of the stain as possible with a clean, dry cloth. Work from the edges of the stain toward the center. Do not scrub.
Mix 2 drops liquid dish soap with 1 cup lukewarm water. Don’t use more soap as this will not enhance the solution’s ability to clean the carpet and it will only leave residue on the carpet.
Blot the solution directly on the stain with a clean rag until it is gone or until it is as light as possible. Blot the solution deep in the carpet fibers to remove all of the stain.
Mix 1 cup white vinegar with 2 cups water if you can still see the raspberry stain.
Blot the solution on the stain until it is gone. Work the cloth and solution gently in the carpet fibers and on the backing. Work until the stain is gone or as light as possible.
Mix 1 tablespoon ammonia with 1 cup lukewarm water if the stain is still visible.
Dab the solution on the stain to remove the color from the stain. This should remove most of the stain.
Mist the area with water and blot it dry. Continue misting and blotting until the stain is gone and the residue is also gone.
