How to Get Fingernail Polish Off My Jacket

You can paint your fingernails to match your outfit or your mood, enhancing the look of your hands. However, while you paint your nails or if you put your jacket on before your nails are completely dry, some of the nail polish may come off on your jacket. Nail polish typically requires something harsher than a little soap and water, though you have to be careful not to damage the fabric of the jacket in the process.

Things You'll Need

  • Nail polish remover

Spray the jacket with a laundry pretreater and wash it in the washing machine per the manufacturer instructions.
