Instructions

  1. Baking Soda & Vinegar Method

    • 1

Sprinkle baking soda across the bottom of the pan.

    • 2

Fill the pan with enough white vinegar to cover the burnt residue.

    • 3

Heat the pan on the stove until the liquid inside begins to boil. Allow the liquid to simmer for several minutes.

    • 4

Remove the pan from the stove and wait until it cools.

    • 5

Squirt grease-removing liquid dish soap onto a scrub pad and use it to scrub away the burnt oil residue, which should come out fairly easily.

    • 6

      Rinse and dry the pan.

    Cream of Tarter Method

    • 7

Stir 2 tablespoons of cream of tartar into 1 quart of warm water.

    • 8

Pour the solution into the stained aluminum pan.

    • 9

Place the pan on the stove and bring the liquid to a boil for approximately 10 minutes.

    • 10

Pour out the liquid and wash the pan, after it cools, using hot, soapy water and a scrub pad.

    • 11

      Rinse and dry the pan.
