Instructions

    • 1

Scrape excess lipstick off the furniture surface with the edge of a spoon. Wipe it on a paper towel. Remove as much lipstick as possible in this manner.

    • 2
Absorbing oil with powder allows you to focus on the color portion.

Absorb wax and oil from the lipstick stain by covering it with talcum powder. Allow the powder to remain on the surface of your furniture for 20 minutes. Remove it with a hand vacuum.

    • 3

Pour rubbing alcohol onto a sponge until damp. Dab at the remaining lipstick stain to remove it. As the stain is lifted, rinse the sponge and apply more rubbing alcohol. Sponge the stain to remove as much as you can.

    • 4

Press a clean and dry cloth into the furniture surface to absorb moisture from the rubbing alcohol.

    • 5

Dampen a clean cloth with dry cleaning solvent. Sponge the remaining lipstick stain to remove the color portion.

    • 6

Lay a dry cloth over the furniture surface, and press down to absorb moisture. Remove the cloth and allow your furniture to air-dry completely.
