How to Remove Cola From Leather

As with all furniture, a leather sofa can become stained any number of ways, including from soda spills. If your sofa features dark leather, the stain will probably not be as visible; however, it is still necessary to take immediate action to keep cola or any stains from setting. Use household products to remove cola stains from your leather sofa, and remember to use conditioning products on all leather items to keep them looking new.

Instructions

    • 1

Soak up as much of the stain as possible with paper towels.

    • 2

Pour white vinegar over some paper towels and use them to wipe up the stain. White vinegar works as a general leather cleaner and should help remove most of the stain.

    • 3

Scrub white toothpaste into the stain in a gentle fashion and wipe up with paper towels to remove the stain.

    • 4

Spray aerosol hairspray directly on the stain and wipe it up with a paper towel. Spray with hairspray and wipe up a few more times as needed until the stain has been completely removed.
