How to Remove Orange Soap Scum From Grout

Regardless of how often you clean your bathroom, soap scum can find its way onto the tile grout. Soap scum, which appears orange, white, gray or even yellow in color, is the result of soap residue and hard water deposits building on the surface of the tile grout. When you notice the soap scum stains, clean them as soon as possible to prevent mold and mildew from growing. While you can use commercial cleaners to treat the soap scum, items around your home will effectively clean the tile grout without harsh chemicals.
