Cheerleaders are known for their high kicks and sassy dances to encourage the crowd to cheer for their team. Instructions

    • 1

Dab the stain with a clean, white paper towel or cloth. Do not rub, as this may cause the stain to seep further into the material. Blotting with the towel or cloth will remove any excess particles from the uniform.

    • 2

Dip a clean cloth in a combination of 1 part hydrogen peroxide and 1 part dish soap with grease fighter. Blot the mixture onto the stain and hold for five seconds. Blot the mixture up with a clean, dry portion of the cloth. Repeat this procedure until the stain is gone. Blot the area with clean water to remove any excess soap when the stain is gone.

Ask around to find out if anyone has a stain-removal pen if the soap mixture did not work. These small travel pens carry a small dosage of laundry detergent mixed with stain fighter to get out tough stains. Dab the pen onto the area until the stain is gone. If the stain is on a white area, you can substitute a stain-removal pen for a bleaching pen.

Locate a kitchen or concession stand and request club soda to blot out the stain. Club soda will pull other liquids out of most materials. If the stain is red on white, club soda may lighten the area but will not remove it completely.

    • 5

Spray hairspray onto the area if the stain consists of ink. Let the hairspray sit for 10 to 15 seconds and then blot the area with a clean cloth. Repeat spraying and blotting until the pen mark is gone.

Look around for a parent with a baby and ask for a baby wipe. These small, wet cloths will remove deodorant stains, food stains and other small stains that are hard to get out.
