Wipe up the spill that caused the ring if it is still fresh. Often a ring on a microfiber couch is caused by someone leaving a soda can sit on the fabric. If that is the case, some liquid may have spilled out and soiled the surrounding area.
Pat at the stain lightly using a soft cloth or a paper towel. Do not rub at the stain or press hard because that can set the stain and make it much harder to remove.
Read the label attached to your microfiber couch to see if it is water safe or not. Some microfiber can tolerate getting wet, while other fiber will be permanently stained by the application of water. Always read the cleaning and care instructions on your sofa carefully.
Mix a few drops of a mild dishwashing liquid into a bowl of cool water. Soak a sponge or terry cloth in the mixture, then wring it out until it is just damp. Use this procedure only on water-safe microfiber.
Pat at each section of the ring one at a time. Work slowly and cover one section at a time until the ring starts to come up. Continue to clean the area until the ring is gone. Dry the affected area with a hair dryer on the coolest setting.
Sprinkle a small amount of dry detergent over the ring if your microfiber couch is not water safe. Use a brush to lift the stain and remove it. Blot the area with a baby wipe to remove any remaining stains.
