Removing Crazy Glue From Pergo Flooring

Pergo flooring is a type of laminate that is stain- and scratch-resistant, but it is no match for crazy glue. Quick-bonding crazy glue dries almost instantly and doesn’t come off with just soap and water. If you find a crazy glue spill on your Pergo flooring, don’t panic. With the right removal technique and products, you can effectively get rid of the glue spot without damaging the laminate.

      Wait for the glue to dry. This takes only seconds, but if you try to wipe it up while it’s wet, the glue will spread.

      Dampen a soft cloth with a small amount of acetone. Sponge the acetone onto the glue stain.

      Scrub the glue from the floor with a soft cloth. Apply more acetone, and continue scrubbing until the glue is gone. You also can chip away at the softened glue with a plastic spatula or putty knife.

      Wipe the area with a damp rag after all the glue is gone to remove any residue.
