How to Get a Water Stain Off a Shower Faucet

Water stains on your shower faucet are typically caused by mineral deposits. These white spots on the faucet are unsightly and can make the entire shower look unclean. Washing the faucet with soap and water likely won’t get rid of the stains. Use the right products to clean water stains off the faucet so it sparkles once again.

  • ½ cup white vinegar
  • Spray bottle
  • Nylon scrub brush
  • Soft cloths
  • All-purpose bathroom cleaner

      Pour ½ cup white vinegar and ½ cup warm water into a spray bottle. Saturate the faucet with the solution.

      Wait 10 to 20 minutes for the vinegar to work. Scrub the faucet with a nylon scrub brush.

      Rinse the shower faucet well with plenty of clean water. Dry thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth.

      Spray all-purpose bathroom cleaner onto the faucet if the water spots are still present. Let the all-purpose cleaner sit on the surface for a few minutes, then scrub with a nylon scrub brush. Rinse the faucet well, then dry completely.
