Wrap a metal or plastic spatula in a thin cloth towel.
Scrape as much of the crayon wax off the wall as possible with the flat edge of the cloth- covered spatula. Use the spatula carefully to avoid scratching the wall unnecessarily.
Blot the crayon marks gently with a cloth generously dampened with dry-cleaning solvent, available at hardware, drug or grocery stores.
Repeat the process as necessary until the crayon is removed.
Paint the crayon marks using a paintbrush or paint roller, depending on the size of the area painted, with primer paint according to the directions on the can. Allow the primer paint to dry thoroughly.
Consult with the hardware store employee to match the wall paint to get the correct color.
Paint over the primer paint with a paintbrush or paint roller and with the correct color of paint. Allow the paint to thoroughly dry. Apply another coat of paint if necessary.
