Removing a Red Wine Stain From Dry-Clean Only Clothes

Red wine is a beverage that contains anti-oxidants and is thought to benefit the cardiovascular system when consumed in moderation. Having a glass of red wine with a meal can complement the flavors of the food as well. On the other hand, red wine also can create nasty stains on clothing, furniture and carpets. If you spill red wine on a garment that is marked "dry clean only," the safest approach is to take the clothing to a dry cleaner right away. However, if you don't have this option, you may be able to remove the stain using one of several possible methods.
