Instructions

    • 1

Put on a pair of cleaning gloves. You won’t be using any toxic chemicals or hard products, but you may want to protect your skin from the debris, soap and water with a pair of simple kitchen gloves.

    • 2

Wipe down the range vigorously with a wet rag in order to remove any loose surface debris and stains.

    • 3

Mix a solution of two cups hot water and one tbsp. dishwashing soap in a bowl.

    • 4

Put the cleaning solution onto the burned-in stains with a sponge, then let the solution sit on the stains for 10 minutes.

    • 5

Wipe the solution away with a clean rag.

    • 6

Scrape off any remaining stain with a flat wooden spoon or a rounded metal knife. Be careful not to scratch the cooktop.

    • 7

Rinse the cooktop again with clean water and a clean rag, then dry the cook top with a soft kitchen towel.
