Tire wax makes your tires shine and protects them from wear and rot. Unfortunately, it can also leave unsightly streaks on the concrete of your driveway or garage. Tire wax is tricky to clean off of concrete, but there is no need to call a professional, even if it does require a few supplies you might not normally keep on hand. A clear day, patience and a little hard work will have your concrete looking as good as new.

1
Spray the degreaser generously on all wax marks and allow it to sit for a few hours undisturbed.
-
2
Scrub the wax mark firmly with a scrub brush while wearing rubber gloves. For large areas or multiple marks, substitute a push broom for a scrub brush. Circular motions are most effective with a scrub brush, while back and forth gives you the most leverage with a broom.

Rinse the concrete using the most powerful nozzle setting on your hose. Allow the concrete to dry to determine if it needs to be re-treated.
