Tea Tree Oil Sprays for Mildew on Rugs

Tea tree oil is extracted from leaves on a tea tree. This aromatic oil has a variety of uses around the house, one of which is to disinfect and remove mildew. If you find mildew on rugs in your home, make a spray with tea tree oil to kill the fungus and remove the stain left behind. Tea tree oil is an all-natural alternative to commercial mold and mildew killers that contain harsh, toxic chemicals.
