Freeze the wax. If the jacket is small, you can place it directly in the freezer. Otherwise, make an ice pack by freezing water in a plastic bag, or place ice cubes in the bag.
Press the ice pack on the stain until the wax is frozen, and then use your fingernail or a dull object such as a paint scraper to chip off the bits of wax.
Spray the area with a spray-on or stick stain remover to remove any dye that remains after the wax is removed.
Place a few drops of heavy-duty liquid laundry detergent directly on the stain. You can also use liquid dish detergent. Rub the detergent into the stain.
Place the jacket in a sink and scrub the stain with hot water.
Rinse the jacket and check to see if the wax stain is gone. If the stain is no longer visible, wash and dry the jacket as directed on the care label.
Soak the jacket in a mixture of all-fabric bleach and water if the stain is still visible. Mix the all-fabric bleach according to directions on the label.
Rinse the jacket and check to see if the stain is removed. If the stain remains, repeat the steps. Alternatively, take the jacket to a professional dry cleaner for assistance.
