Empty your hot tub and allow the inner surface to air dry.
Combine 1/2 gallon of warm water with 1/2 gallon of white vinegar in a bucket. Soak a nylon scrub brush in the diluted vinegar solution.
Scrub the inner lining of the hot tub with the vinegar solution, paying special attention to cloudy, white calcium deposits. Apply more vinegar solution to the brush as needed and continue to scrub the entire surface.
Sprinkle baking soda onto the wet brush to tackle any stubborn calcium deposits. Scrub the stain to remove it. Clean around the hot tub jets and any other area where water comes out to remove calcium deposits from those surfaces, too.
Rinse the surface of the hot tub with a damp cloth to remove stain residue and baking soda.
Wet a clean cloth with water and add a nickel-sized amount of nonabrasive soft scrubbing cleanser. Scrub the interior of the hot tub to give it a final cleaning.
Rinse the surface with damp cloths.
Flush calcium deposits out of the inner workings of the hot tub by filling the hot tub and adding 1 gallon of white vinegar. Turn off your hot tub's air induction. Run the water jets for 10 minutes.
Drain the hot tub and then fill it with water. Run your hot tub for 10 minutes before draining it once again.
Refill your hot tub for use.
