Squeeze some acne cream with 10 percent benzoyl peroxide onto your fingertip. Spread the cream in an even layer onto the ink-stained areas of the vinyl.
Allow the cream to dry on the vinyl. Leave the cream in place for four to seven weeks. To speed up the process, place the item in the sun. Be aware that fading of the untreated parts of the object can occur.
Fill two small dishes with warm water. Put two or three drops of liquid soap into one of the dishes of water. Agitate the water with your fingertips to create suds.
Dip a portion of a clean cloth into the soapy water. Squeeze the cloth gently to rid it of excess water. Wipe the treated area of the vinyl to remove the dried cream.
Dip an unused section of the cloth into the dish with plain water. Wipe the cleaned area to remove the soap reside. Wipe dry with another clean cloth.
Inspect the area to determine if the stains have faded. If not, reapply the cream in an even layer. Allow it to remain on the vinyl for approximately three weeks. Repeat Steps 3 through 5.
Pour 1 tablespoon of rubbing alcohol into a small dish. Dip a portion of clean, white cloth into the alcohol.
Rub the ink stains with the alcohol-soaked cloth to remove them. As the ink transfers to the cloth, switch to an unused portion of the cloth. This will prevent retransferring the ink onto the vinyl.
Wash the treated area with mild soap and water after removing the stain. Dry with a clean cloth.
