Instructions

    • 1

Scrap off any pomegranate seeds, juice or skin with a plastic spoon or your fingers.

    • 2

Turn the fabric inside out before running the stained areas under cold water.

    • 3

Apply liquid laundry detergent to the stained area. Then place the fabric in cold water to soak for about 20 minutes.

    • 4

Rinse the garment in cold water.

    • 5

Wash the fabric as usual using chlorine bleach or color bleach, whichever is safest for the fabric. Do this only if the stain is gone.

    • 6

Pour hydrogen peroxide onto the stained areas if the above steps don't remove the stain. Saturate the stains with the peroxide and let sit for two minutes to three minutes. Hydrogen peroxide is a bleaching agent.

    • 7

Rinse out the hydrogen peroxide in cold water. Then wash the garment as usual.
