How to Stiffen a Crochet With Corn Starch

Crochet is a delicate and fine knitting technique that produces a wide range of articles, from lace to doilies to clothing. A crocheted item in use as a household decoration may present better if it is more rigid than the natural fibers. Stiffen the crochet to be less pliable by using a concoction of everyday cornstarch and water.
