Empty all items from the washing machine.
Set your machine for a "Hot" cycle.
Turn the machine on. Wait until it gets to the "Rinse" cycle, and then stop the machine.
Add approximately 2 cups of white vinegar directly into the machine. Turn the machine back on until the cycle completes. The white vinegar eliminates any leftover soap suds, as well as unwanted minerals, from the machine.
Inspect the inside of the washing machine. Repeat Steps 2 through 4 if you notice any suds inside the machine.
