How to Care for Bearpaw Cable Knit Boots

Bearpaw carries a large variety of boots designed with a sweater-style cable-knit upper half that provides warmth in cold temperatures. These popular boots are fairly expensive, so it is important to properly clean and care for them. The lower half of the boots are made of a sheepskin that also requires care. With the right ingredients and technique, you can safely clean the entire boot without causing damage.

Instructions

  Wipe loose dust from the boots with a cleaning rag.

  Pour 1 cup cold water into a bowl with 1 teaspoon sheepskin cleaner and conditioner. Also add about 3 drops of sheepskin shampoo to the water and stir the solution with your fingers to mix the ingredients.

  Dip a cleaning rag into the solution, squeeze out excess cleaner and wipe over the boots. Continue until all residue is removed from the boots.
