How To Remove Fresh Grease Stains From a White Shirt

Working around greasy tools and automotive parts makes clothing susceptible to grease. Grease contains lubricants that leave black, oily blotches on white shirts. These oily blotches mar a white shirt, making it look dingy. Since grease stains become more severe the longer they set, remove grease while it's fresh. The quicker you remove grease stains, the less likely they permanently stain a white shirt. Rapidly remove fresh grease stains from a white shirt to restore its appearance.

Spray the grease stain generously with pretreatment stain remover. Leave the pretreatment on the grease for one minute.
