How to Dry a Frogg Toggs Rain Suit After Washing It

Frogg Toggs rain suits are waterproof suits that are also windproof. The material has a center of breathable fabric, encased in polypropylene. The fabric pores are smaller than rain drops, so water cannot reach your skin. The rain suits have closures that make the waist, wrists, and neck lines tight so water does not run under the openings. They are low maintenance suits that you can wash in the machine and then air dry.

Instructions

    • 1

Take the rain suit out of the washer and shake it vigorously to remove the wrinkles. Open the zippers and open the enclosures.

    • 2

Hang the suit over a clothes drying rack indoors, or clip it to a clothesline with clothespins. If you are using clothespins, hang the pants upside down and clip them at the ankles. Hang the jacket upside down and clip it from the waistline.

Leave the suit to drip dry for four to eight hours, depending on the temperature and wind. Take it off the rack or clothesline when it is completely dry.
