Remove sweaters or woolen items and keep them from the dryer cycle entirely. Shape them and lay them flat on an absorbent surface to dry. Turn over the items as needed until they are dry. Make sure they are entirely dry in the seams before folding and putting them away.
Dry jeans or heavy material on the lowest dryer setting. If you find you are losing length when you dry, remove them while they are still damp and stretch them to their proper length. Allow them to hang dry.
