How to Clean a Nappa Leather Jacket

Nappa leather is a soft and durable skin used for clothing, wallets, furniture and car interiors. Nappa is expensive because it comes from the unsplit skins of lamb, kid or sheep. Manufacturers dye Nappa into a variety of colors and apply a variety of finishes. One advantage of Nappa leather is that the leather withstands water. Unlike most leathers, Nappa uses water to remove stains, which makes cleaning a jacket much easier.
