     Adjust your washing machine to the coldest setting possible and add liquid laundry detergent to the machine.

     Put the comforter in the washing machine and let the cycle run completely.

     Remove the comforter at the end of the cycle and tumble it dry on low heat until it is completely dry. Alternatively, hang the comforter out to air dry.
