Making a Natural Liquid Laundry Soap With Borax

The mineral borax boosts the power of soap and removes stains from laundry. It's also a powerful disinfectant. Although borax comes in powder form, it can be used to create a liquid laundry detergent. Making a Borax-based liquid laundry detergent at home costs pennies compared to the price of liquid laundry detergent sold in grocery stores. The natural ingredients also take it easy on your clothes, your skin and the environment.
