Pour 1 to 2 tablespoons of baking soda into the bowl. Add lukewarm water until the bowl is half filled. Stir the water and baking soda for 30 seconds.
Place the white delicate shoes in to the bowl. Let them soak in the baking soda and water for 20 to 30 minutes. Delicate shoes often have lacing or beading on them, making it difficult, if not impossible, to scrub them. The scrubbing will ruin the beads or lace. It can also harm delicate fabrics like silk.
Rinse the white delicate shoes with cold water. Place them in a sunny spot to dry. It will take a day or two for them to dry completely.
