How to Get Rid of Wrinkles on Duvet Covers Without Ironing

When duvet covers are placed in the dryer, they become twisted and bundled up, resulting in wrinkles. The wrinkles take away from the overall look of the duvet cover while it's on your bed; when wrinkled, the duvet cover tends to look more like a sheet than a cover. The sheer size of the duvet makes removing these wrinkles with an iron tedious for many. There are ways to relax the wrinkles in the duvet without having to break out the iron.

Things You'll Need

Instructions

    • 1

Spray wrinkle relaxer over the duvet cover. Then use a blow dryer to heat up the cover and relax any wrinkles.

    • 2

Spread out the duvet cover in the bathroom with the shower on. Turn on the hot water and allow the steam to remove the wrinkles.

    • 3

Mist water over the duvet cover and hang it dry on a clothesline outside. This will allow the fabric to stretch out and the wrinkles to relax.

    • 4

Hold a fabric steamer over the duvet cover while it's laying flat on your bed. The steam will relax the wrinkles.
