Add fabric softener, either in the wash or in the dryer, to your laundry to make it anti-static. Many washers have a dispenser in which to put the liquid fabric softener. Liquid fabric softener can also be added during the rinse cycle, although you need to remember to do so. Toss a dryer sheet in the dryer, turn it on and the work is done. The heat releases the anti-static chemicals to keep your clothes from clinging. However, if you suffer from chemical allergies or just want to use environmentally-friendly products, you can use a product you probably have around your home to make your clothes anti-static.
